Good Weather

A sick Jack







I am not sure if it is the warm weather, the boys getting older or the boys finally feeling better after the horrible stomach flu but the past few days have been nice. Jack can finally reach the pedals on his bike. He loves to race up and down the block which can be a little terrifying for me especially with an 18 month in tow. Jack is also in love with playing baseball. He has played everyday for the past week. He refuses to use the t-ball which makes batting difficult but he is very good at pitching.
Matt is getting better at running and climbing. I can relax a little at the park knowing that he will not fall backwards down steps or tumble head over heels on the slide. Matt also has a bigger vocabulary. Everyday he seems to add on a new word. However at our last doctor's appointment, the doctor was really concerned about his drooling. We are scheduling a visit to the ENT and have him evaluated for speech therapy. He seems to be eating fine and he can talk fairly well but the drool is insane. Even mom and dad are grossed out at times!
This past Mother's Day my family and I did the Beverly Breast Cancer walk. Last year it rained and I had the flu. This year was beautiful but my mom had the flu. She tried to will herself healthy but it did not work. She was able to take a nice long nap at home.
