Jack's Faces

Everyone says Jack looks just like Terry. Looking at Terry's baby pictures, it is very scary how similar the two look. However, lately, Terry and I have noticed that Jack can do the "Meredith Look" with great ease. Just like with mom, these are the times you do not want to mess with Jack.

Super Bears

Terry and I had my family over on Sunday to watch the Bears/Saints game. It was a nice afternoon. Jack slept until about 4:30 so we got to concentrate on the game and eat beef sandwiches. Once Jack woke up though, all eyes were on him. Grandpa read stories to him and Lauren played catch with him. He was in all his glory and was quite the character. He even walked up to the window, pointed outside and said "snow". Yet another word we did not teach him. Terry and I say hi to him about 100 times a day but he would rather say "stove" or "moon". The party ended around 7:30 but Jack was wired. He loves being around family.

Just Me and My Dad

Terry took a week off after New Year's and got to spend a lot of time with Jack. The two bonded so much that when Terry went back to work today, Jack spent a good part of the morning looking for him.
The two boys had fun working on Jack's room, baking cookies, shredding paper, inventing games and visiting a children's museum. It was wonderful to have him home and we both miss him. Thank goodness for weekends!
