Terry took Friday off and we all went to the Museum of Science and Industry. Our visit was a little rocky at first. Matt thought the whole museum was his to do with what he wants. He ran around laughing, screaming and climbing over everything. Terry and I pressed on and hoped for the best. The train exhibit was the answer to our prayers. I think the boys could sit and watch the trains for hours on end. Both were calm and in awe of the lights, little towns, tunnels and bridges.
After a visit to the Smart House and a brief lunch I asked Jack what he would like to do next. He said "Let's play 'Find trains and watch them'. So we headed back to the train exhibit and watched the trains for a little while more. Matt soon started to rub his eyes so we had to cut out quickly.
The day ended with a nice steak burrito dinner (made by Terry!) on our back porch. The intense heat wave seems to be gone at the moment which allowed for a nice evening of baseball, bike riding and a brief visit to the park.
