Terry and I hosted our first barbecue in the new house last week. We had over 40 people. I was not sure how everything was going to work but it came together perfectly that day. The weather was in the low 70s and Terry made the best brats I have ever tasted. Jack discovered a new favorite game with his cousins - tossing beer cans into a freezing ice bucket and then running from person to person shocking them with his cold hands.
It was so great to be with the family and show them all of our hard work on the house. It was also nice to "repay" them for all of the help and support they have given us. I still don't think we are ready to host Thanksgiving or Christmas but we are headed in the right direction.
