Matt had his first emergency room visit on Thursday. He is completely fine now and back to normal but it was a terrifying day. Matt ran into a open door on the car. He not only split his head open but fell backwards and hit the back of his head too. And this all happened two inches from me! Matt was a trooper (Jack too) and went willingly to the hospital and did not mind getting stitches. Hopefully he will not mind getting them removed next week!
On the way home from the hospital, Terry asked Matt about the whole experience. He said he liked the doctor but he did not like that "he wrapped me like a taco". Thank goodness for Matt's sense of humor. It was exactly what his parents needed!
