The Reutter's

A very good family friend, Russ Reutter, passed away suddenly last week. It was devastating news that took your breath away. Russ was like a father to Terry and was just a wonderful man to know. Never a dull moment with him.
Like most funerals, there were lots of laughs in celebrating a life that was so filled with good memories. So much of Russ lives on in his wife, kids and grand kids. Terry, Jack and I got to spend lots of time with the Reutters. Last night they came for dinner. We had so much fun that Jack woke up this morning asking where the "babies" were and then said "no babies" with a sad face. Luckily for us, they are family and we will see them again.

So sorry for your loss. Hope there is joy and comfort in all the good friendships and all the new life. I think that kids can be a tonic for grief - there is just nothing like the hug and kiss of a child -it's always sincere.
